Renal Dialysis Unit was inaugurated at JUH in early 1980, at that time the unit was accommodating four patients distributed on four Hemodialysis stations. In April 4, 1987 this unit was moved to the outpatient clinics building, it was developed and expanded to accommodate seventy eight patients distributed on thirteen Hemodialysis stations, in addition to the Hemodialysis station available at MICU for intubated patients.
