Training & Rehabilitation programs in the year of 2011 | Offering training programs to students of the University of Jordan, including: <br>- (542) students of the faculty of medicine were trained through the year of 2011. <br>- (266) students of the faculty of Dentistry were trained through the year of 2011. <br>- (1050) trainees other than doctors were trained through the academic year of 2011/2012. <br>- The total number of doctors trained at JUH for the academic year of 2011-2012 was (1050), while the total number of trainees other than doctors for the same year was (383). <br>- (56) Training courses were held at JUH by the training, planning, and development office. <br>- (88) Training courses were held by the Continuous Education Office, (3) of them were outside the hospital, it also participated in (12) external courses and activities. <br>- Through the year of 2011, (60) Fake fire exercises were carried out covering all the hospital sections. <br>- Through the year of 2011, two Evacuation exercises were carried out in coordination with the Civil Defense of Jordan <br>- Offering training in Hazardous Medical Waste Management in cooperation with the Ministry of Health. <br>- Offering a course about dealing with chemicals in coordination with the Civil Defense of Jordan. <br> |

The training, planning, and development center offered many specialized courses to JUH staff. | In 2010, The training, planning, and development center offered many specialized courses to hospital staff, such as: <br>- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation course offered for Computer Center staff, staff of General Director Office, and Directors of administrative departments. <br>- ECG and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation courses offered for nursing staff of specialized units. <br>- General Safety & Infection Control course offered for housekeepers. <br>- Pediatric Basic Life Support course offered for emergency residents and nursing staff of Pediatrics and Emergency departments. <br>- Communication skills course offered for all hospital staffs. <br>- Food Safety course offered for Nutrition Division staff. <br>- Conscious Sedation course offered for Gastroenterology, Respiratory, Cardiology, Dentistry doctors and nursing staff of specialized units. <br>- Basic Medical Skills course offered for new residents. <br> |
